About Us
OPTION 2 CHANGE INC. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that was designed to assist underprivileged parents with restoration of family,community, and advancement of education.This program provides a variety of skills to equip our clients with the ability to sustain a single parent household. We provide a network that will serve as a support system during difficult times. Our goal is to combat community deterioration and juvenile delinquency through strong parenting examples. We are providing families with various opportunities and bringing the role model back into the home.
Today we open our eyes, ears, and doors to a vision long awaited. We began attempting to follow a tradition long but forgotten by many. In the hopes to make a change or transition that will sustain a future for our families. My grandmother always said it takes a village to raise a child. My theory stands If it take a village to raise a child why not a community to change the world. Welcome to OPTION 2 CHANGE INC.!
OPTION 2 CHANGE INC. has helped over 356 single parents and over 1424 children in the lthis year throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area. We have also provided assistance to over 44 homeless individuals in the last month.
OPTION 2 CHANGE INC. has set out on a course to rebuild the community around Georgia. We have established several programs to increase education and promote healthy relationships. In doing so, we will achieve the success of changing lives and reconciling families. We thank you for joining the mission.

Outreach is a program designed by the founder of option 2 change Inc. to help the homeless and other nonprofits that are assisting in restructuring the community or aiding the disadvantaged and providing relief due to natural disaster or illness.This program consist of option 2 volunteers assisting the homeless twice a month on the second and fourth saturday of every month.It also consist of partnering with various metro Atlanta nonprofits to lend a helping hand.
Currently option 2 change will also be assisting single parents in several shelters with basic necessities while in overflow.It has come to our attention that single mothers with teenage boys are having a hard time getting place in transitional housing or section 8.If you would like to assist we ask then you contact our office.We are currently looking for basic necessities such as personal hygiene items,basic cleaning items and clothing.We thank you in advance for all of your help in the community.

Option 2 Change Inc. will provide Japanese Language classes Monthly for Beginners . Our goal is to provide our youth and their parents with the ability to become fluent in Japanese. Japanese is one of the main languages used in businesses that utilized science, technology, engineering, and math. As we have noticed these subjects are the driving force of our future. Many of our children are interested in stem fields or graphic design fields such as animation, website design, Video editing and innovation of new products and majority of these services Japan is currently the leader. We would like to open up the minds of the community and give our children another tool to help them reach their goal of success.
The classes will be taught by one of the top engineers in the country who is fluent in Japanese, English, and German. He has worked at many technology and architectural firms throughout the world. These classes will be taught based on age group and through various methods that will reach the age groups. All text will be provided during registration in your new beginning package.

TAPS - TEACHERS AND PARENTS STAND
This program is designed to get students and there parents to interact in the community while building healthy relationships.We educate the community through the eyes of our future by providing various opportunities to learn about other cultures,various careers, and our environment.

Teen club iis designed to provide teens a voice in their community while offering leadership skills, financial literacy ,career counseling,mentors,a safe enviornment to hang with other teens and community service.

PROGRAM 1: A VILLAGE RAISING A CHILD IN TODAY'S SOCIETY Option 2 Change provides a court approved nurturing parent course for single parents throughout Metro Atlanta.Below are a couple of examples. OPTION 2 CHANGE INC. GED REQUIREMENTS
Option 2 Change has two options for applicants for our GED program.
Option 1- Classroom training at our Douglasville or Fulton county location Option 2- Online Webinar's with assignment's faxed or emailed in weekly
All students must complete an orientation for testing whether you are a online or campus student.
The requirements listed below are mandatory to enter the GED program. All individuals must follow these guidelines if a participant does not meet these guidelines disciplinary action up to termination will follow.
Registration Requirements
A prospective student must file an evaluation form, volunteer commitment and availability form, and a metrics test, along with the $15.00 Registration fee for all course Materials to enter the program.
Late Registration If a student registers after the registration period ends they will be expected to pay $5.00 late fee plus the registration fee of $15.00 before they are allowed to attend class.
Commitment
A student is required to finish all assignments in class and all homework assignments must be turned in to the instructor as requested the following week.
Attendance
All students are required to complete a full 8 to 12 week session based on the individual results to take the GED test.
If a student is unable to attend class they must notify the office within 24 hours of there next scheduled class.
All students must adhere to the attendance guidelines outlined in the handbook.
If a student misses class they are required to pay a $10.00 fee for tutoring the week prior as no student is allowed to fall behind in this program.
Volunteer Commitment
A student must complete a total of 24 hours of volunteer work .If those hours are not completed Option 2 Change reserves the right not to pay for the administration of the test.
To register for class you must first pay your registration fee and then contact our office to confirm participation.

Green Initative
Option 2 Change is a green business.All of our supplies and office equipment consist of energy star appliances.We would like the community to join in the green awareness pledge to save our planet.Option 2 Change has several monthly seminar's to help our community to get more involved in green awareness.
Our classes are held at our location however we offer classes on demand on a monthly basis. We are always available to speak at community functions as well.

This expo will feature entertainment ,great food, doctors,colleges,technology firms and local business experts in the green industry.Option 2 Change has a goal to educate the community about green technology and living in order to save our planet.

Option 2 Change Work Ready Program is designed to assist single parents with education and training to help start or continue their job search, gain confidence and competitive advantages in the marketplace.
The work ready program will provide job applicants:
Ranking above other job applicants who have not demonstrated needed skills
Develop a better understanding of employers requirements for job performance
Determine skill improvements and training opportunities
Realize opportunities for career advancement and promotions

We need people like you to donate time, energy, and experience in a variety of areas, including food pickup and delivery, administration, home visits, individual transportation, and more.Together, we will be able to help many of these families and individuals not only to meet essential daily needs, but to work toward a brighter future with programs in job training, education, counseling, elderly assistance, and temporary housing.
